BSNL 4G offers Rs 599 prepaid plan, gives 5GB of data per day along with a truly unlimited voice calling benefit and 100 SMS per day.
After consuming 5 GB of data per day, the speed of the plan drops to 80 Kbps. Users with the plan are also offered a free Zing subscription. This plan is valid for 84 days.
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), despite its difficulties, offers its customers some truly exceptional 4G plans.
Although there are very few 4G state-owned telecom sites in India, users can still top up these plans and continue to consume data and other benefits at 3G speeds. Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel are the two main operators in our country.
Both telecom companies compete heavily to offer the best deals to their users. However, BSNL offers users a prepaid plan that neither company can compete with. Let's take a look at that plan.
BSNL 4G plan which is better than Jio and Airtel offerings
BSNL offers a Rs 599 plan. This plan includes 5GB of data per day along with truly unlimited voice calling benefits and 100 SMS per day. After consuming 5 GB of data per day, the speed of the plan drops to 80 Kbps. Users with the plan are also offered a free Zing subscription. This plan is valid for 84 days.
Now, both Jio and Airtel offer users prepaid plans that are in the same price range but offer far fewer benefits.
Jio also offers a plan of Rs 599. Ma Jio limits the daily data limit to 2GB for users and offers unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day. There are no special OTT benefits, but a free subscription to a Jio app suite is available. This plan is valid for 84 days.
Arriving at Bharti Airtel, the second largest telecom operator, offers users a plan of Rs 598. This plan also includes less data per day, ie 1.5GB, and offers users unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day.
In addition to these benefits, a free subscription to Airtel Xstream Premium and other Airtel Thanks benefits is available. This plan also comes for 84 days.
It should be noted that for essentially the same price, Bharti Airtel offers the lowest benefits followed by Jio and BSNL offers the best plan.
The only problem BSNL is facing at the moment is that it does not offer PAN-India 4G coverage to users. Compared to that, both Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel offer users PAN-India 4G coverage along with a solid network experience with fast download and upload speeds.
BSNL's 4G plans are up and running, and the telecom company is looking for select vendors who can help update mobile sites across the country. BSNL's 4G networks are expected to reach India by the end of 2022, which is a long way from here.
