It is one of the most popular short-term coupons offered by the state-owned telecommunications company. The bsnl 18 coupon is said to now offer 1GB of Fair Use Policy (FUP) data instead of the 1.8GB daily data it used to offer. According to a report from BSNLTARIFF, BSNL also offers benefits via SMS with the 18 rupee coupon, but has significantly reduced the data supply for users - more bsnl 18 plan details.

To really understand how the benefits of the bsnl Rs 18 voucher have changed, let's take a look at what the voucher offered before. Users received unlimited voice calls, unlimited video calls, and 1.8 GB / day of data for two days. If the user consumed all FUP data before the coupon expires, the speed will drop to 80 Kbps.
After the review, unlimited video and voice calls are available, but the data has dropped to 1GB per day and users get an additional 100 SMS / day benefit. The validity of the voucher will remain the same as 2 days. The speed would return to 80 Kbps after running out of FUP data.
The new voucher offer will take effect from February 5, 2021 and will be applicable in all telecommunications circles.
BSNL Rs 18 Recharge voucher: How to activate it?
There are several ways to recharge your prepaid mobile with BSNL Rs 18 voucher. The first is to do it online recharge from bsnl selfcare portal or recharge portal or any third party recharge websites like paytm, freecharge, mobikwik etc. It is very easy and convenient as you can do it from virtually anywhere by logging into the telecom company's website or via one of the recharge applications like PhonePe, Google Pay and Amazon pay.
The second is to go to a retail store and pay for it in cash. The third and final way to recharge the Rs 18 coupon is to send an SMS "STV(space)COMBO18" to 123 or use the USSD code "*444*18#".
We're not really sure that many users would appreciate this change. Since the culture of sending SMS has been reduced to an all-time low. We assume that most users would have wanted the additional data of 800MB / day instead of the 100 SMS / day with the Rs 18 voucher.
