The central government can allow BSNL to raise funds
Since the telecommunications department (DoT) completes the lines of the reactivation package for Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL), the allocation of 4G spectrum on a neutral revenue basis and the issuance of bonds to finance the voluntary retirement (VRS) plan are taken into account.
The proposals, which are in their final phase, will soon be sent to the Council of Ministers for approval.
A senior DOT official said: "We have invited comments from all interested parties and are evaluating these comments before finalizing the package." The central government can allow BSNL to raise funds.
