BSNL Bharat Fiber partnership with MEERCELL will contribute greatly to providing lucrative
business opportunities for budding entrepreneurs and will also lead to
job creation for people in general.
BSNL Jammu and Kashmir Circle launched the "Bharat Fiber" FTTH high-speed Internet service in Pulwama City 26-04-2019.
"Customers can take advantage of maximum unlimited high-speed Internet plans with unlimited voice calls," a BSNL spokesman said.
The service was launched by Chief General Manager BSNL, Jammu and Kashmir, Ashok Kumar Singh Rana, in the presence of GMTD Srinagar, Zafar Iqbal and authorized BSNL channel partner Mir Nazir, MEERCELL commn, Pulwama.
Speaking on this occasion, Rana said that "the service was launched as part of a single business partnership with channel partner MEERCELL Commn based on revenue sharing. The OLTE art equipment was purchased, installed and placed by the channel partner, and backhaul integration, business services and billing were provided by BSNL.
In a statement, BSNL PRO Masood Bala stated that this is the first of its kind integrated into the valley in this way. Customers who wish to use the "Bharat Fiber" service can book connection at one of Pulwama BSNL or MEERCELL commn.
BSNL planned to establish associations of this type in all the central offices of the district and also at the HQ block level. People looking for business opportunities like village level entrepreneurs can contact BSNL in this regard. Rana also said that, since Bharat's fiber services are provided by the optical fiber that leads to the customers' sites, it can provide customers with high-speed and reliable Internet services. Services are not affected even in adverse weather conditions.
