BJP MP Varun Gandhi not paid 38 thousand bills, BSNL complains to EC
The letter of Telecom Agency stated that Varun Gandhi has not even got a No-Dues certificate from Pilibhit BSNL Office during the filling nominations from Pilibhit Loksabha seat.
Bharatiya Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has got a balance of Rs 38 thousand on BJP MP Varun Gandhi. Despite repeatedly reminders, the bill has not been deposited by Varun Gandhi, after which BSNL has sent a letter to the Pilibhit district election officer and informed him about this issue. BSNL told that Varun Gandhi is contesting Lok Sabha elections from Pilibhit seat in the forthcoming elections. According to a news report of News18, the Accounts Officer of BSNL has addressed a letter to the EC and stated that the bsnl telephone number was provided for Varun Gandhi, who was MP from Pilibhit Lok Sabha seat for the year 2009-2014. There is a bill of Rs 38,616 on the number. Despite repeated remindings, the bill has not yet been paid by Varun.
