The letter of Telecom Agency stated that Varun Gandhi has not even got a No-Dues certificate from Pilibhit BSNL Office during the filling nominations from Pilibhit Loksabha seat.

Bharatiya Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has got a balance of Rs 38 thousand on BJP MP Varun Gandhi. Despite repeatedly reminders, the bill has not been deposited by Varun Gandhi, after which BSNL has sent a letter to the Pilibhit district election officer and informed him about this issue. BSNL told that Varun Gandhi is contesting Lok Sabha elections from Pilibhit seat in the forthcoming elections. According to a news report of News18, the Accounts Officer of BSNL has addressed a letter to the EC and stated that the bsnl telephone number was provided for Varun Gandhi, who was MP from Pilibhit Lok Sabha seat for the year 2009-2014. There is a bill of Rs 38,616 on the number. Despite repeated remindings, the bill has not yet been paid by Varun.

In addition, in the letter of telecom agency that Varun Gandhi has not even got a No-Dues certificate from Pilibhit BSNL Office during filing the nominations from Pilibhit MP seat. 


Bharatiya Janata Party's candidate Varun Gandhi has been an MP from Pilibhit seat of Uttarpradesh from 2009 to 2014. In the 2014 elections Varun Gandhi's mother Maneka Gandhi contested and Varun Gandhi was contesting from Sultanpur constituency. Now in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections where Varun Gandhi is once again in Pilibhit, Maneka Gandhi has been nominated from Sultanpur. 


Addressing an election rally in Pilibhit on Sunday, Varun Gandhi lauded PM Modi. Varun Gandhi said that there are many Prime Ministers in his family, but in the past, no Prime Minister has given India such fame, as PM Modi has. Let's say Varun Gandhi's paternal grandfather Jawaharlal Nehru, grandmother Indira Gandhi and uncle Rajiv Gandhi have assumed the office of Prime Minister. Varun Gandhi said that, When I quit from the Bharatiya Janata Party immediately resign from the politics and I living for the country and I will die only for the country.
