It is known that to use this Facebook application, a user must have a smartphone, an Internet connection and a mobile phone number. While the first two out of three are essential, you can eliminate the third. Yes, you can really! Thanks to a feature that allows users to join WhatsApp with a landline number! With the launch of the WhatsApp business application last year, the company offered companies the opportunity to create a WhatsApp account with a landline number. Subsequently, this installation was also made available for standard WhatsApp. In other words, you can use WhatsApp without your mobile number. These are the steps you should take:

Step 1: Firstly, WhatsApp or the business application must already have been downloaded to your phone. Open the application on your smartphone, tablet, laptop, desktop computer or any other compatible device.

Step 2: When you open the application, you will be asked to select the country code and register a 10-digit mobile number. Instead of the mobile number purchased from Airtel, Reliance Jio, Vodafone, BSNL or any other telecommunications service provider, it is also possible to enter the previous landline number.

Step 3: once you have entered the number, the application will verify it by calling or sending an SMS. The verification message will be sent first to the number entered. However, as you know, the verification message will not arrive because you entered the landline number. Don't worry. Wait a few minutes for failed SMS verification. After this, you can choose the "Call me" option. To do this, touch the option on the screen to receive the call on the landline to complete the verification procedure.

Step 4: in the landline verification call, an automatic entry will write a six-digit verification code. You must enter this code in the application to access WhatsApp without your Reliance Jio, Vodafone, Airtel or BSNL number.
