Vodafone Idea has started offering VoWi-Fi service in the telecommunications circles of Mumbai and Gujarat. With this development, Vi has now activated VoWi-Fi service in four circles, including Maharashtra and Goa and Calcutta. As per latest information available on social media, that the company confirmed the expansion of Voice over Wi-Fi (VoWi-Fi) to the Mumbai and Gujarat circles. Furthermore, the same reader saw the availability of the service on Xiaomi's Redmi Note 8 Pro smartphone in the Mumbai region. Additionally, Vi officially mentioned the availability of VoWi-Fi in four circles on its website.

Despite launching the service nearly a year later than Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio, Vodafone Idea, also known as Vi, is doing a good job of expanding the service to more circles soon. While Vi has officially confirmed the expansion of VoWi-Fi to two further circles, TelecomTariff subscriber has confirmed the availability of VoWi-Fi on its Redmi Note 8 Pro smartphone. "Vi Wi-Fi Calling is offered to all customers of V mobility (prepaid and postpaid) only in the circles of Maharashtra and Goa, Mumbai, Gujarat and Calcutta ”, says Vodafone Idea.
When our website last reported in December, Vodafone Idea added VoWi-Fi support on just nine smartphones (seven from Xiaomi and two from OnePlus). As of this writing, the brands remain the same, but the list of VoWi-Fi compatible smartphones has grown. A total of 25 Xiaomi phones (Little Included) and four OnePlus smartphones now support Vi VoWi-Fi out of the box, depending on whether the service is available in your circle.
