The offer launched on February 20 is valid only in selected circles: Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
Public Telecommunications company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited - BSNL has started offering a free 4G SIM card with new broadband and landline connections.
The free 4G SIM card offer was launched in telecommunication circles of Kerala and Tamil Nadu last week and will be valid until March 31, 2021. We currently have no information on the availability of the offer in other circles.
Under this offer, customers using a new BSNL broadband or BSNL landline connection will receive a free 4G SIM card with a 75 rupee coupon plan. All BSNL Bharat Fiber, Broadband and Fixed plans will be part of this offering.
The BSNL PV 75 offers 100 minutes of free voice calls and 2GB of data for 60 days. The company could have made this offer to increase sales of SIM cards.
BSNL Free 4G SIM card offer with new bsnl connections
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited generally features unique offerings from time to time, and this offer also follows the same principle. In recent times, cable broadband service providers are experiencing a growing demand for new connections. And BSNL is no exception, especially after the introduction of the affordable Bharat Fiber plans, which start at just Rs 449.
It appears that BSNL is seeing some good new broadband connection demands in the circles of Kerala and Tamil Nadu. To recharge on demand, BSNL includes a free 4G SIM card with every new landline and broadband connection.
For the uninitiated, BSNL has a wide range of broadband plans such as DSL Broadband, Bharat Fiber and many landline plans are also available. The 4G SIM card comes with a free plan of 75 rupees. As mentioned above, the Voucher 75 plan offers 100 minutes of free voice calls and 2GB of data valid for 60 days. The offer will be valid until March 31, 2021 and was presented on February 20, 2021.
It is not known when BSNL plans to launch the offer in other telecommunication circles. Perhaps it is already active and subscribers can get a free 3G SIM card. We have reached out to BSNL for official confirmation and will update this post once the company has responded.
In other news, BSNL recently revised its plans for Bharat fiber across the country to offer more FUP limits and higher speeds. The ISP now offers speeds of up to 300 Mbps with various broadband plans. Previously, it only had a 300Mbps broadband plan priced at Rs 1,499, but now all Bharat Fiber plans above Rs 4,499 have the same 300Mbps speeds.
