State-owned telecommunications operator BSNL makes new offers every year for Independence Day and Republic Day. And continues this year for Republic Day 2021. BSNL Republic Day 2021 offers include additional validity on two long-term prepaid recharge plans of Rs 2,399 and Rs 1,999.
The state-owned company also launched a new STV 398 with 30 days of validity. Additionally, the telecom company made a major overhaul by removing the FUP limit on voice calls. All BSNL plans had a 250 minute FUP daily voice call limit, but that has now been removed.

BSNL Republic Day 2021 Offers: The Rs 1,999 plan offers an additional 21 days of validity
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has long offered the annual prepaid plan Rs 1,999. As part of the 2021 Republic Day, it will grant an additional term of 21 days, bringing the total duration of the plan to 386 days. The offer of additional validity will be valid until January 31, 2021.
As for the benefits, the PV 1999 or Rs 1,999 BSNL annual plan includes unlimited voice calls to any network in India, 3GB of data per day and 100 SMS per day. In addition, users will also receive a free subscription to PRBT (BSNL Tunes) with the possibility of unlimited song changes for 365 days. The plan also comes with the 365-day Eros Now subscription, along with Lokdhun content for the first 60 days.
BSNL Republic Day 2021 Offers: The Rs 2,399 plan offers an additional 72 days of validity
As it is the 72nd day of the Republic of India, BSNL has revised the long-term plan of PV 2,399 or Rs 2,399 to offer 72 days of additional validity.
The plan includes unlimited voice calls with no FUP daily limit, 100 SMS per day, 3GB data per day, free BSNL PRBT for 365 days, and Eros Now subscription for the entire validity period. BSNL has reduced the plan validity from 600 days to 365 days, but the offer for a limited period until March 31, 2021 means that users get 437 days of validity.
BSNL Republic Day Deals 2021: Launch of the new STV 398 plan
To remain competitive in the market, BSNL introduced the STV 398 plan a couple of weeks ago, but the telecom company markets it as the plan presented for Republic Day 2021.
The USP of this prepaid plan is the data advantage. BSNL did not mention any daily FUP limit or speed reduction after a certain amount of data usage, so we assume the plan offers truly unlimited data without any restrictions. Other benefits of the plan include unlimited voice calls to any network, including Delhi and Mumbai circles. In addtion users also get to send 100 SMS per day.
