Airtel offers 5GB of free data to customers who download the Airtel Thanks app for the first time.
To be eligible for the offer, an Airtel 4G prepaid subscriber will need to download the latest version of the Airtel Thanks app from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.
Bharti Airtel has introduced a new offering called "New 4G SIM or 4G Upgrade Free Data Coupon" as part of which it provides 5GB of free data to new Airtel 4G customers.
According to the available information, new Airtel users can enjoy 5 GB of data in the form of five 1GB coupons after first downloading the "Airtel Thanks" app.
This offer can be used by prepaid Airtel subscribers residing in India who have purchased a new 4G SIM or switched to a 4G device and signed up for the first time in the Airtel Thanks app using a prepaid mobile number.
In the quarter ended September 30, 2020, Bharti Airtel added more Reliance Jio 4G subscribers for the first time in nearly four years. Airtel 4G prepaid recharge plan user can access this offer to get free data.

To be eligible for the offer, an Airtel 4G prepaid subscriber will need to download the latest version of the Airtel Thanks app from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. After the download, the user will register in the application using their prepaid mobile number within 30 days of activating the mobile number.
Airtel says that the five 1GB coupons each will be credited to the user's account within 72 hours, provided the user meets the aforementioned criteria.
There are some terms and conditions that are worth mentioning. A user can only take advantage of this offer once using the same mobile number. Airtel has also confirmed that if the user is eligible for this 5GB free data offer, they will automatically be excluded from the 2GB free data offer that the telecom company is currently running to download the Airtel Thanks app for the first time.
Airtel also said that the winners will automatically receive the coupon credit message after eligibility. Regarding the redemption process, after receiving the SMS, users can view / request their vouchers in the "My vouchers" section of the Airtel Thanks app. Each 1GB coupon will be available for redemption for 90 days from the day of credit, and after redemption it will be active for three calendar days and will automatically expire on the third calendar day.
The redemption of the voucher will only work if the user has an active Airtel prepaid connection at the time of redemption. In case the connection expires before the coupon expiration period, that is, three days, the free data will only work until the main prepaid package expires, Airtel concluded.
