The first way is to visit a Jio shop. When you do, request CAF or the migration of your number from prepaid to postpaid or vice versa. You must bring your identity card and 2 photographs for verification. You will be provided with a user request form that you can fill out and within 3-7 days your request will be fulfilled.

There is also a way to transfer your number using the SMS service. You just have to enter PORT followed by your phone number and send the SMS to the central portability number of TRAI - 1900.
