Airtel Xstream Fiber is one of JioFiber's biggest competitors. Both broadband service providers are constantly introducing new offerings to attract customers. JioFiber recently announced a new Rs 399 / month broadband plan with unlimited data.
This is cheap and a good deal for the customer. This would have given Airtel Xstream fiber very large competition plans that start at Rs 799 and don't provide unlimited data for free. But this was changed by Airtel. Now all Airtel Xstream connection plans offer unlimited data benefits just like before. Until now, only the VIP broadband plan offered unlimited data benefit.
Not only that, Airtel also launches the new 40 Mbps speed airtel xstream fiber new plans for Rs 499 which also includes unlimited data, unlimited calls, Airtel Xstream 4K TV Box and OTT content from Xstream 4K TV Box.
Airtel Xstream fiber Unlimited data plans
So there are now a total of five plans offered on Airtel Xstream Fiber's listings. These five plans are: Rs 499 plan (40 Mbps speed), Basic (100 Mbps speed), Entertainment (200 Mbps speed), Premium (300 Mbps speed) and VIP (1 Gbps speed) plan. Any customer who previously wanted unlimited data on any of the airtel xstream connection plans except the 1 Gbps speed plan would have to pay an additional Rs 299 per month.
This would give the customer unlimited data which also has an FUP limit of 3.3TB of data every month. But now, this has been made free for all plans. So now, regardless of the plan the customer chooses, he is entitled to get unlimited data with it. Previously, Airtel Xstream Fiber had launched a similar offer to select Indian telecom circles.
The six telecommunication circles that benefited from unlimited data were: Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Secunderabad (airtel xstream fiber plans hyderabad), Surat, Visakhapatnam and Guntur. Now the offer of unlimited data is not limited only to these telecommunication circles, but the offer has spread all over India.
The basic plan (it was 799 rupees) included 150GB of data for one month. The entertainment plan (cost Rs 999) included 300GB of data for one month and the Premium plan (cost Rs 1,499) included 500GB of data for one month. It is worth noting that there are no changes in the price of the plans, only the benefits have changed. So the plans for airtel xstream will still cost the same, but you will receive unlimited data (3.3TB) per month.
It is definitely a good solution for customers who want quality internet and use of airtel xstream without worrying about running out of data. Paying Rs 299 per month for unlimited data seemed a bit exorbitant for some customers and therefore Indian broadband customers would have accepted the change with grace.
The new Airtel Xstream Bundle offered by Airtel Xstream 4K TV Box is also not completely free. You will need to pay a security deposit of Rs 1,500 to get the airtel xstream box. For the Rs 1,499 and Rs 3,999 broadband plans, there is an added benefit of Disney + Hotstar, Amazon Prime Video and ZEE5 added. This package will be available to customers from September 7, 2020.
