BSNL subscribers can expect unlimited voice calls, including local/STD and roaming, as well as free personalised ring back tone (PRBT) and 100 free SMS per day with the Diwali Mahadhamaka offer. As part of the Rs 1,699 plan, prepaid subscribers will receive 3GB data per day, for total plan benefits of 1095GB 4G/3G/2G data.
On the other hand, the Rs 2,099 Diwali Mahadhamaka offer provides 1460GB of data benefits, with no daily limit. In any case, BSNL will provide post FUP speeds of 128Kbps for both offers.
BSNL’s Rs 1,699 Diwali Mahadhamaka plan will compete with Reliance Jio’s Diwali plan, also worth Rs 1,699. As part of the plan, Jio subscribers will receive daily data benefits of 1.5GB over 365 days. This has been bundled alongside unlimited voice calls benefits, as well as 100 daily SMS.
