PSU BSNL revise existing Broadband plans Download speed to minimum 4Mbps from May 1, 2017

Unlimited broadband plans download speed increased to 4Mbs
Largest telecom PSU Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has announced to offer a base download speed upto 4Mbps for specific Broadband plans under Broadband services.

BSNL after tough competition with Reliance Jio under Mobile services now moved to Broadband services by enhancing its existing 2Mbps download speed to 4Mbps with almost of its broadband plans from 1st May, 2017 onwards on PAN India basis.

As per latest information, PSU increased the speed and monthly fair usage policy (FUP) remain the same with all the broadband plans. However, BSNL is not offering below 675 FMC plans for this speed because they are not bound to modify the promotional plans which recently extended offer period upto 30th June, 2017.

BSNL above Rs.675 monthly rental plans will be updated the revised speed upto 4Mbps. Another popular plan the BB ULD 1199 plan now offers 4Mbps speed upto 40GB and later on speed will be reduced to 1Mbps for the rest of the billing cycle.

Similarly, PSU also waived off the installation charges with FTTH broadband plans for new customers who subscribe to the BSNL Broadband plans following above condition.
