Airtel broadband plans
Airtel with its Xstream fiber connection offers one of the fastest broadband connections and users can access the "Basic" package which provides 40 Mbps internet speed for a monthly fee of Rs 499 without tax. Users get 3.3 TB or 3,300 GB of Fair Usage Policy (FUP) monthly data with this plan. Airtel also offers "Airtel Thanks Benefits" with its broadband plans, which in this case includes a subscription to Wynk Music and Shaw Academy.
New BSNL Fiber broadband base plan
The most affordable option from the state-owned BSNL was the "Fiber Basic" plan which offers an Internet speed of 30 Mbps at a cost of Rs 449. The price quoted does not include GST and the plan includes an FUP limit. 3300GB or 3.3TB. However, the telecom company recently introduced a new broadband plan called "Fiber Entry". Using its Bharat Fiber connection, the telecommunications company offers a Fiber Entry plan that provides speeds of 20 Mbps for the cost of Rs 329 per month. The data limit of the plan is 1000 GB, beyond which the speed is reduced to 2 Mbps.
Tata Play Quarterly Fiber Plan
Tata Play Fiber, formerly known as Tata Sky Broadband, also offers an affordable plan that offers speeds of 50 Mbps for a three-month price of Rs 2,097. This plan, unlike other broadband plans offered by the provider, does not have a monthly cycle. However, users who wish to get the plan for a longer period can access the plan for six months at Rs 3,300 and for one year at Rs 6,000. The FUP limit on this plan is 3,300GB or 3.3TB.
Excitel broadband plans
Excitel only provides broadband connectivity with Internet speeds of 100 Mbps, 200 Mbps or 300 Mbps. Therefore, the 100 Mbps plan offered by telecommunications companies is the most affordable plan. Excitel Fiber at 699 monthly rental offers first to users @ 100 Mbps speed plan for one month. Users can also get the plan for 3 months, 4 months, 6 months, 9 months and 12 months for Rs 565, Rs 508, Rs 490, Rs 424 and Rs 399 respectively per month. However, the 9-month plan is only available to new subscribers to the service. Plus, Excitel plans are truly unlimited and no FUP data limits apply.
ACT fiber affordable broadband plans and offers
The Bangalore-based Internet Service Provider offers an unlimited 40 Mbps data plan called "ACT Basic". The plan usually costs Rs 549 per month, but the ISP offers a unique offer for their customers, where the "ACT Basic" plan is available at monthly rental @ Rs 470 for a period of 6 months. Also, the FUP data limit applied to broadband plans is 500GB after the internet runs at 512Kbps speed.
