JioPhone Next, the affordable 4G smartphone co-developed by Reliance Jio and Google, will be available in India for Rs 6499 starting this Diwali. The smartphone will be available in convenient monthly installments (EMI) for up to 24 months. There are four plans that the company is grouping with EMI payments for users. JioPhone Next price in India
JioPhone Next was launched for Rs 6499 in India. Users can purchase the smartphone at either EMI or through a cash advance payment. It will be available through all of the company's retail partners, including JioMart.
Users can choose to pay Rs 1,999 upfront and then pay the rest of the amount in EMI. There are four types of EMIs options available.
1) Always-on Plan: This plan will allow customers to pay Rs 300 per month for 24 months or Rs 350 per month for 18 months. Additionally, with this plan, users will receive 5GB of data + 100 minutes of voice calls per month.
2) Great plan: For monthly rental at Rs.450 for two years and at Rs.500 for 18 months this business plan is available to customers. Users will receive 1.5GB of data per day as well as unlimited voice calls.
3) XL Plan: With the XL plan, users will have to pay Rs 500 per month for 24 months or Rs 550 per month for 18 months and will receive 2GB of data per day with unlimited voice calls.
4) XXL plan: Finally, with the XXL plan, users will receive 2.5 GB of daily data and unlimited voice calls. Here, customers will have to pay Rs 550 per month for 24 months or Rs 600 per month for 18 months.
JioPhone Next Specifications
As previously announced, JioPhone Next will run on the Android-based Pragati operating system. It will run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 215 SoC along with up to 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The internal memory can be expanded up to 512GB with an external microSD card.
It comes with a 5.45-inch HD + Multi-touch screen (720x1440) with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 at the top. The JioPhone Next is a dual SIM smartphone powered by a 3500mAh battery. It has a single 13MP sensor in the back and an 8MP sensor in the front.
