Netplus has announced rationalization of its Triple Play broadband plans offers freebies and now provides new 3 plans with IPTV, unlimited voice calls and broadband internet connection.
Last year Netplus Broadband introduced two "Triple Play" broadband plans which offer users IPTV service, fiber broadband connection and truly unlimited calling. The plans announced last year began for a mere price tag of Rs 1,099.
The 1,099 rupee plan came with an internet speed of 100 Mbps and gave users truly unlimited data with no Fair Usage Policy (FUP) limits. The company Netplus one of the Broadband service providers also known the first company to provide IPTV service with a broadband connection in India.
Now the company has updated its Triple Play plans. Instead of the two plans of Rs 1,099 and Rs 1,199 previously offered, the company now offers 3 "Triple Play" plans with greater benefits and at a lower cost. Let's take a look at the 3 "Triple Play" plans offered by Netplus Broadband.
Netplus Broadband SD Premium Package
Netplus Broadband's "Premium SD" plan is the basic plan offered. It costs just Rs 999 and offers users an IPTV service with access to over 335 SD channels. In addition to the IPTV service, users also get a 100 Mbps fiber broadband connection and a truly unlimited free voice calling connection that takes advantage of the company's smartphone technology. Netplus Smart Telephony allows users to receive calls on both their mobile and fixed connection.
The company didn't mention it on their website, but hopefully the plan's price doesn't include GST.
Netplus Premium Broadband HD Plan
Netplus's "Premium HD" plan costs Rs 1499 per month. The specialty of this plan is that it offers users over 345 HD channels with IPTV service. Additionally, users get 350 Mbps fiber Internet connection with the company's smart phone service. The price of this plan can also exclude GST.
Netplus Broadband Platinum HD plan
The "Platinum HD" plan is Netplus Broadband's most expensive "Triple Play" plan and costs Rs 1,599 per month (may not include GST). The company offers over 345 HD channels with IPTV service and a fiber broadband connection with a speed of 400 Mbps. Users also receive unlimited voice calls with the company's smartphone service.
What does the Netplus IPTV service offer?
First of all, IPTV stands for Internet Protocol Television, which means that the data packets carrying the content are sent over Internet Protocol networks. Users can enjoy content from a single connection across multiple displays, including televisions, mobile phones, and tablets. Users have the option to consume content from live HD TV channels.
Also, there is "Time Shift TV" which means users can watch the previous 2 hours of the program they missed. In addition, the "Catch Up TV" feature allows users to catch up on any missed program or content from the last 7 days.
Furthermore, users can install and even download applications; use the company's video on demand (VoD) service to watch your favorite content.
Netplus "Triple Play" plans are quite important when users are considering getting a broadband connection. They compete directly with JioFiber offers which also include a free set-top box.
