Aatmanirbhar Bharat: Reliance Jio Made in India 5G network starts with Google

RIL president Mukesh Ambani announced Google as strategic partner Reliance Jio Made in India 5G solutions to be started under Aatmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan.

Reliance at its 43rd Annual General Assembly (AGM). It is reported that Google could invest $ 4 billion in Jio platforms. At the online meeting, Mukesh Ambani, President and CEO of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) confirmed the partnership with Google and made the news official.

Ambani also announced the Jio 5G "Made in India" solution. At the presentation of the AGM, Ambani said: "Jio has created a complete 5G solution from scratch, which will allow us to launch a world-class 5G service in India, using 100% local technologies and solutions".

He also said that Jio is ready for 5G tests as soon as the 5G spectrum is available. Along with this, Jio platforms will also help the world with upgrading to the 5G network by exporting 5G to other operators outside of India.

Reliance Jio's 5G solution was created in the light of Indian Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's vision of "Aatmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan" support Indian economy in fight against COVID-19. It is completely made and developed only in India.
