The company has activated the new promotional offer in several cities, including Chennai, Coimbatore, Cochin and Ernakulam.
The 1000 GB bonus data for six months applies to the Basic, Entertainment and Premium plans. The base plan, currently priced at Rs 799, allows users to browse up to 150 GB at a speed of 100 Mbps.
Meanwhile, the entertainment plan is priced at Rs 999 and allows users to browse at a speed up to 200 Mbps up to 300 GB. The Premium plan allows users to browse at speeds of 300 Mbps up to 500 GB with the plan currently priced at Rs 1499.
The company offers free access to Airtel Xstream on all its plans, while access to Amazon Prime and Zee5 is limited to entertainment and Premium plans.
While Airtel offers unlimited data plans in Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh, users from other cities can also switch to unlimited plans for an additional price of Rs 299 per month.
