Idea's new Plan 149 offering unlimited voice calls for Local/STD and National Roaming calls. The company restricts voice calls benefits upto 250 minutes per day, 1,000 minutes per week and calls must be made to only 100 unique numbers during the validity period. This plan comes with 21 days validity and also offers 100 SMS messages per day. Idea's new plan on pilot project basis available in few circles only for the time being and soon extended in all circles further.
Without any data benefits this voice tariff plan available at Rs.149/-. The idea telecommunication notes that the user will need to top up at the beginning of this plan to get internet data usage. There is a 92 plan providing 6 GB free data usage for seven days best matches with this plan. The idea also has a Rs.199 plan for prepaid customers which offers unlimited calls (the same FUP condition), 1.4 GB of data per day and 100 SMS per day with 28 days validity.
Airtel has a similar prepaid voice call plan available at Rs.299 and offers unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS messages per day, with 45 days validity. In addition to BSNL's 99 plan, there is also another 319 plan which gives the same benefits to the customer with a validity of 90 days.
Separately, Airtel has increased the daily limit of data in its Rs.399 recharge plan for selected prepaid customers. Previously, the telecommunications provider offered 1.4 GB of data per day, but now offering 2.4 GB a day under revised benefits.
