Public Sector Unit Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited trying its level best to gain more share market in mobile segment introduced comparative affordable Prepaid plans and postpaid plans in competition with private telecom players. Under Postpaid segment Airtel and BSNL both introduced plenty of plans which are available for mobile customers in all telecom circles.
BSNL’s entry level Postpaid plan 99 offers 250MB free data per month and Airtel Postpaid plans ranging from Rs.299 to Rs.2999 FMC (Fixed monthly charges).
BSNL Postpaid Plan 1125 and Airtel 1199 Postpaid plan both offer Unlimited voice calls to any network in all telecom circles. The primary aim of both the teleco’s is to offer unlimited free voice calling to make its Postpaid customer retain in the same plan.
Airtel is giving 17GB free data per month and extra 10GB data per month for both new and existing customers for a period of three months, making it 27GB data per month compare to BSNL Rs.1125 plan offering 20GB free data per month.
Airtel is offering 100 SMS per day as per TRAI providing 3000 SMSs per month with 1199 plan whereas BSNL doesn’t offer any Free SMS benefits to its 1125 Postpaid plan customer.
In addition, Airtel gives additional digital content with their Wynk Music and Wynk Movies subscription. On subscription of 1199 FMC plan Airtel offering one month free Wynk subscription while BSNL doesn’t offer any multimedia benefits.
