Leading private telecom operator in India Reliance Communications has announced the launch of content-bundled data offer MovieNet plan for its GSM users.
MovieNet plan offer RCom subscribers can access movie, music and internet usage in association with M/s Hungama Play. It offers a free subscription to its entertainment on demand services along with any use data to experience maximum benefits under MovieNet plan.
In a statement the company official said, ‘RCOM had conducted a study to understand the content consumption pattern of the people. According to the study, movies and music were found to be the two key drivers for the increasing content consumption. “…..customers do hesitate to consume premium licensed video content, given the high subscription fees’.
As per latest information, prepaid MovieNet plan starts at Rs.235 per month offering 2.5GB free data usage including 1.25GB of ‘Any-Time Data’ access and 1.25GB of night data. In addition Prepaid customer on subscription can access free unlimited library of 8000 movies, 5000+music videos and 3.5 million soundtracks with 28 days validity. To avail this scheme/plan customer can be accessed through a web link subscriber receives as SMS after availing the pack. Similarly, subscriber can also avail any number of recharge on the MovieNet plan.
Whereas, postpaid subscribers have pay monthly rental for MovieNet add on plan Rs.450 subscription to Hungama Play services offering 3GB high-speed data and 1000 minutes of local and STD voice calling.
