As per latest information, Aircel to counter commercial rollout of Reliance Jio in Kolkata has decided to cut down the existing data tariff by 67 percent by increasing data usage by upto 33 percent.
Aircel also stated that under this offer prepaid users can also benefit on existing data packs and longer validity in metro circles like kolkata.
Similar to Vodafone and Airtel in Kolkata circle Aircel has nearly 40 million subscribers and increase its revenue through data services. But with the effect of Reliance Jio Aircel users are migrating to Jio to get Unlimited 4G data usage for a period of 3 months through 4G VoLTE mobiles.
Lowest rate Aircel data pack of Rs.16 offering 125MB free data usage instead of 100MB with 3 days days validity an increase of 25 percent data.
Highest rate Aircel data pack of Rs.1397 offering 18GB free data usage instead of 15GB with 60 days days validity an increase of 20 percent data.
