Leading private telecom operator in India Idea Cellular begins registration for its launch of 4G LTE services very soon. The company announced to offer 1GB-4GB free data usage under 4G services.
Idea Cellular official sources said, We have acquired spectrum for 4G services to launch in Telecom Circles of Gujarat, Uttarpradesh (West) areas from Videocon Telecom with a deal of Rs.3310 crore.
According to the information this deal would push Idea Cellular for launching of 4G services and help to expand to 12 service areas covering over 75 percen of current revenue and over 72 per cent of existing 170 million quality subscribers on VLR said experts.
Idea Cellular after the transaction would help mobility services across 8 leadership circles of Maharashtra and Goa, Kerala, Andhrapradesh and Telangana, Madhyapradesh and Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Punjab, Gujarat and Uttarpradesh (West).
Currently idea intends to use spectrum 2x5MHz contiguous blocks of 1800MHz in each services until December, 2032.
