During this Ganpati festival period for 11 days thousands of devotees coming to the above popular pandals for Ganapati darshan. Reliance has aimed to benefit this festival period offering Jionet high-speed WiFi (Wireless connectivity on handsets) internet services to devotees.
Speaking to media Reliance Jio spokesperson said, ‘Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated with much pomp and splendour all across Maharashtra and especially in Mumbai. It is a festival that brings people together as they worship Lord Ganesh and enjoy a week long festivities. This year, we are privileged to join the festivities by offering ‘Jionet’ high speed Wi-Fi internet service at Lalbaug Cha Raja, Andheri Cha Raja & Sahyadri Cha Raja (Tilak Nagar, Chembur) as we want visiting devotees to sample the digital ecosystem we are building consisting of high speed data networks, specially designed apps and rich content to understand how it can enrich their lives’.
Reliance on trail run basis offering Wireless connectivity to receive feedback from customer about network will be help to improve network further as Jionet gets ready.
Relaince officially announced to launch 4G LTE services at the end of this year i.e December, 2015 across the country.
