BSNL slashed discount offered on Broadband FMC for Central/State Government PSU employees across the country.
Public Sector Unit (PSU) Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has reduced discount based connection offering for Central/State Government and Public Sector Unit (PSU) employees for new DSL, WiMax and FTTH Broadband connection bills i.e Fixed Monthly charges (FMC) from 10 percent to 5 percent across the country.
BSNL offered 20 percent discount on the Broadband bill amount (FMC) before 2013 on gesture basis thereafter from 30th September, 2013 discount was slashed from 20 percent to 10 percent. Now BSNL further reduced discount from 10 percent to 5 percent on State/Central/PSU employees broadband bill from 1st October, 2015 across the country.
BSNL on this reduce of discount clarified that on the basis of Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) guidelines and instructions this drop in discount announced and implemented in all telecom circles.
