BSNL is under process to start 4G (4th Generation) services in association with Reliance Jio by integrating its wireline and wireless availability. Speaking to news sources, BSNL’s Chairman and Managing Director Sri Anupam Shrivastava, said BSNL plans overhauling operations and upgrading network and devices deals. This year i.e 2014 seems to be a year of transition on going fusion of wireless and wireline network across India.
To meet the subscriber requirement BSNL is ready to roll out 4G services across India by ending of March, 2015. Telecom ministry already announced to separate Tower company having second biggest tower infrastructure provider with over 65,000 towers and plans to share infrastructure on rental basis to run 4G services with Reliance Jio having 4G license across the country, said BSNL CMD.
