BSNL customers Subscribing to daily, weekly, monthly alerts schemes with minimal charges at the same time most of the customers are complaining about unknown services (Value Added Services) VAS activations without their permission and charging of Rs.3 to Rs60/- and more.
Mobile customers are receiving wap or link or text based sms etc., daily on their mobiles. If the customer received any wap or link based sms on their mobile and exited to open or clicked on wap link by mistakenly VAS service will be activated automatically.
The Value Added Services (VAS) which were activated earlier knowingly or unknowingly users can stop all those service through SMS based services by sending simple SMS as given below and type as:-
STOP
Send SMS to 155223
If VAS service is activated on users mobile then immediately a message will sent as ‘Your XYZ service will be deactivated within hours of time’.
This messaging service will help users for deactivation of already subscribed VAS services and also without consent activations.
If users don’t have activated any type of VAS service then a message will be sent as ‘Dear Customer No VAS Services found or VAS Services already deactivated’.
