BSNL would take a lot of the load from Airtel and Jio Networks
BSNL would go a long way to offloading private telecommunications networks. The telecom operator would offer frustrated customers a new option to get 4G services. Currently, mobile customers of bsnl have no other alternative to choose 4G services from these three private telecom operators. However, once BSNL rolls out 4G, consumers will have more choice.
Also, the mobile networks of private telecommunications companies would be offloading a bit. There is problem of Network congestion for all telecom mobile customers in India, but this will ease the pain when bsnl launches its 4G 5G services. As customers would also start consuming BSNL's network services, this would mean that there would be slightly less load on the private telecoms' 4G networks.
Government main intention is to cover the 4G services in remote areas through BSNL for the cause of Nation. K Rajaraman, the telecommunication secretary, has already said that BSNL will focus on bringing 4G to villages where high-speed broadband is not available. Telco rates are also the cheapest in the industry right now and are not expected to change for the foreseeable future either. Thus, you can also acquire many cheap customers from Vodafone Idea, Airtel and Jio.
