Bharti Airtel's 5G will now work on all Samsung phones. In a very short time, Samsung was able to roll out OTA (over-the-air) updates for all of its 5G smartphones in the country to support Airtel's 5G. Airtel is currently rolling out 5G NSA (non-standalone) and plans to move to 5G SA (standalone) at a future stage. Samsung has joined the leagues of Chinese smartphone makers and now all its 5G-capable devices in India are compatible with Airtel's 5G. If you own a Samsung 5G phone in India, you should upgrade if you haven't already. Airtel's 5G is already available in several cities and is rapidly expanding to other parts of the country.
The two devices that did not have Airtel 5G support at the time were Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 and Galaxy Z Fold3. Both devices have now been added to the list of devices receiving OTA updates with 5G NSA support from Airtel.
